國際扶輪「最高榮譽獎」　證嚴法師獲獎

慈濟基金會創辦人證嚴法師，因長期關懷弱勢、推廣人道精神，獲頒國際扶輪「最高榮譽獎」。

今日出刊的《聯合報》報導，國際扶輪社總社長黃其光認為，慈濟的精神、志工的奉獻和國際扶輪宗旨相當類似，頒給證嚴法師「實至名歸」。對此證嚴法師表示很愧對，因為這是所有慈濟人的榮耀，只是由證嚴這個名字代表受獎。
