潭美颱風襲台造成不少災情，國內壽險公司包括新光、國泰、富邦、南山、中國、中信、三商美邦、合庫、康健、遠雄、全球等壽險公司也都啟動多項保戶服務措施，包括提供受災保戶續期保費、保單貸款利息緩繳、房貸本金寬延、免費補發保單等關懷措施，其中合庫、遠雄、康健、南山及三商美邦甚至提供保單借款免息，多為3個月，新光人壽房屋貸款本金寬限期最長可達1年。
新光人壽表示，考量災區保戶近期無暇分心處理續期保費及保單借款利息事宜，針對災區保戶提供繳納寬限優惠，凡經確認收費地址位於受災地區的保戶，其續期保費或保單借款利息應繳月為今年8、9兩個月者，該期保費或保單借款利息自應繳日起，經申請後可緩繳3個月；已催告件仍於寬限期間內者，寬限期間自動延長為3個月。
此外，在房屋貸款本金寬延優惠方面，新光人壽表示，借款戶確因受災損致還款困難者，依受災戶的申請，提供房屋貸款本金寬延（緩繳）1年的優惠措施。
國泰人壽也在第一時間啟動「保戶服務措施」因應，其中針對應繳月為今年8至9月的續期保險費、保險單借款利息，提供受災區域保戶緩繳3個月的措施；至於受災戶房屋貸款本金部分，亦給予緩繳3個月優惠服務。此外，保戶車輛若因受災事故造成拋錨，需要相關道路救援服務時，國泰人壽也提供符合資格的保戶車輛免費拖吊服務。
富邦人壽也啟動緊急應變方案，提供保戶快速理賠、續期保費緩繳、保單借款利息緩繳等服務，申請期間自即日起至10月31日止，其中受災保戶保費應繳月為今6至10月者，提供保費緩繳4個月，並針對受災保戶應繳的保單借款利息，可申請寬延3個月繳息。 (接下一頁)
