蝦咪！整天想著如何能把到妹，居然是提升競爭力的重要關鍵？有研究指出，缺乏求偶歷程刺激的果蠅，在繁衍100代後，成了「腦殘」，不但求偶能力變差，學系能力也下降！

據《泛科學》近來發表的一篇文章「好好把妹，努力求偶，確保子孫不會越來越笨？！」指出瑞士洛桑大學的科學家霍利斯（Brian Hollis）和卡維基（Tadeusz Kawecki）透過實驗，證實了求偶競爭對雄性物種的心智能力確實有影響。

研究將果蠅「強制配對」成了一夫一妻，公果蠅不用賣力求偶，就有「老婆」相當輕鬆。豈料，在歷經100代的繁衍後(研究耗時需4年)，竟發現在此環境下繁衍的公果蠅，求偶、學習能力皆不如在正常情況下繁衍的公果蠅。因此推論，若人類男性若不用努力求偶就能找到老婆，子孫恐怕也會「愈來愈笨」。(劉邠如／綜合報導)
