　　源自於 2010 年，由高階遊戲領導品牌微星科技舉辦的 MSI Beat IT 2014 Global 全球電子競技大賽即將開打， 此次大賽將由歐洲區於 5 月 8 日開始報名並爭取國家代表資格。其他區域的報名及資格賽時程將陸續於微星科技官方網站公告，最後為期兩天的全球冠軍總決賽將於 11 月在台北舉行，由來自全球 7 個區域的電競菁英爭奪超過 11 萬美元的總獎金。此次 MSI Beat IT 2014 全球電子競技大賽以《StarCraft II》（星海爭霸II）及《DOTA2》為指定競賽遊戲，全球電競頂尖好手將一展絕技大顯身手。微星科技這次搭配強大的 XSplit Gamecaster 直播側錄軟體，預計將會吸引超過高達 50 萬來自 100 個國家的線上觀看人數，一同享受不 Lag 的精彩直播。
