228這天，原是紀念過去苦難的日子，一群公民老師不畏炎熱天氣來到教育部前開起露天教室，要為教育部官員上一堂「公民課」。公民教師行動聯盟發起人，台東女中公民老師周威同表示，這次靜坐希望教育部能夠撤銷公告，並重啟公聽程序。

高雄文山高中公民老師聶松齡表示，「依據憲法我們是人，是國家的主人；我無法告訴你應該是台灣人還是中國人，因為這是你的權利，這是你未來可以做的決定；但作為一個老師，我應該告訴你各種的可能。」（完整影音報導）
