任天堂：暫時玩不到瑪利歐、神奇寶貝

在大陸市場成為全球企業主力戰場時，日本電玩大廠任天堂自然不會錯過這塊大餅，特別是大陸已解除長達13年的遊戲機銷售禁令。不過他們要失望了，因為大陸年輕人已不再購買家用主機玩遊戲，而是玩手機與平版電腦的APP。

任天堂推出全新家用主機Wii U，卻苦無銷售長紅之遊戲。而N3DS雖有馬利歐系列遊戲與即將推出的神奇寶貝等遊戲，但銷售卻不如前代的NDS。而在大陸市場銷量不如預期，更使本季的任天堂財報慘兮兮。在全球人手一機的時代，有沒有機會在手機上玩到《超級瑪利歐兄弟》等遊戲？任天堂社長岩田聰回答，短時間內不可能。

岩田聰認為，任天堂不同於其他廠商，同時開發硬體與軟體，這兩者結合才能相得益彰。且他認為，在iOS與Android作業系統上開發遊戲雖可帶來短期收益，但這並不是長久之計。因此，短時間內，在iPhone或其他智慧型手機上，很難見到瑪利歐、皮克敏與其他任天堂明星。
