前行政院長謝長廷力促「馬蔡會」，總統府仍不改基調稱，「歡迎在野黨意見領袖不預設前提」，與馬英九總統就國是交換意見。馬總統同等看待蘇蔡，凸顯了民進黨天王各自為政的局面。
謝長廷認為，蔡英文不必計較身段或委屈，為人民跨出步伐，赴約會談，「促成國是會議」，解決人民痛苦。謝蔡陣營以「國是會議」為前提，力促「馬蔡會」，府方是否放棄這一堅持，已不是政治角力的重點。
總統府重申，馬英九不只歡迎與蔡英文會談，如果民進黨主席蘇貞昌或謝長廷願意會談，總統也非常歡迎。
就算府願棄守「不預設前提」的條件，民進黨恐要自己先搞定派誰出面，否則蘇貞昌的處境相當難堪。
這齣舊戲碼，也不是第一次上演，去年府方就曾以「疊床架屋、曠日廢時」回應蘇蔡召開「國是會議」訴求。
為了國家發展，朝野共商國是，當然是件好事，但「鬼打牆」似的隔空喊話，早已激不起人民的美好期盼。
