搶攻信用卡市場，萬泰銀行2012年底推出馬卡龍城市悠遊卡，以創新思維一口氣推出10張卡樣，廣受好評，近日趁勝追擊，再與古典玫瑰園及JCB國際組織合作，再推出「彩虹玫瑰」JCB晶緻卡。萬泰銀消費金融事業群副總華倩表示，今年將力拼發卡量、簽帳金額成長2成，至於馬卡龍卡，目標是3年發卡10萬張。
華倩指出，目前萬泰銀行發卡總量約60多萬張，其中馬卡龍卡目前有2.5萬張，目標希望3年可以達到10萬張，而在10種卡樣中，其中古典玫瑰園創辦人、董事長親筆畫作「繽紛玫瑰」卡面最受好評，發卡量占馬卡龍卡的2成，這次則再趁勝追擊推出「彩虹玫瑰」JCB晶緻卡。
華倩也指出，由於馬卡龍卡著重在旅遊、百貨及加油優惠，因此，卡友消費金額也較其他卡高，目前每卡每月平均刷卡金額達8000元，其中核卡30天的動卡率有6成，核卡60天的動卡率則高達8成。
雖然景氣成長趨緩，不過，華倩說，萬泰銀今年上半年信用卡刷卡金額仍較去年成長1成，今年目標希望發卡及消費金額能有2成的成長。他表示，由於信用卡客戶的消費力高，因此，萬泰銀也希望透過信用卡將客戶引進銀行，帶動其他業務包括存款、理財、放款的成長。
